(November 8, 2009) - Things aren’t getting any easier for the Howard University Bison, with a 43-13 home loss to the South Carolina State Bulldogs on Nov. 7 dealing them a fifth-straight defeat.

(November 1, 2009) - The Morgan State Bears can’t seem to catch a break at the opportune time, and they needed one badly, facing fourth-and-inches in overtime against the Florida A&M Rattlers. But they didn’t get it, as Florida A&M stopped Morgan State quarterback Carlton Jackson to seal a 31-28 victory at Hughes Stadium on Oct. 31.

Norfolk State Blows Away Howard, 41-6

(November 1, 2009) - The Howard University Bison haven’t won a game outside of the District of Columbia all season, so losing a road game against the Norfolk State Spartans wouldn’t have been too surprising. But Howard couldn’t have expected the actual outcome, a 41-6 blowout loss on Halloween Saturday, Oct.31.

Bowie State Bulldogs Take First Loss in CIAA

(October 27, 2009) - The Bowie State Bulldogs took their first loss in the Central Interscholastic Athletic Association on Oct. 24 as they fell to the Virginia Union Panthers, 17-16, during VUU’s Homecoming in Richmond.

(October 26, 2009) - The Morgan State Bears saw a five-game winning streak come to an end as they fell to the Delaware State Hornets, 35-22, who celebrated their homecoming in Dover, Delaware on Oct. 24.

Damon Wilson Named CIAA Coach of the Week

(October 21, 2009) - Bowie State Bulldogs head coach Damon Wilson was recently named the Central Interscholastic Athletic Association Coach of the Week for the second time this season. He was honored after leading the Bulldogs to a 14-0 win against St. Paul’s College during Bowie State’s homecoming on Oct. 17.
