(September 17, 2009) - Howard Lady Bison’s Gazelle d’Artois was honored for a second consecutive week Monday after a strong performance in the VB Rags West Carolina Invitational Tournament this past weekend.
According to Howard Sports Information, d’ Artois was named to the West Carolina All-Invitational Tournament after finishing with 30 kills, 25 digs, two blocks and two aced during action at the volleyball tournament.
The junior outside hitter from Newhall, Calif., recorded a double-double of 11 kills and 13 digs against Gardener Webb, then posted a match-high 12 kills against Catamounts, who hosted the tournament.
She was just named to the Pepsi Liberty All-Team on Sept. 5 for her performance in the invitational volleyball tournament in Lynchburg, Va., where she recorded a double-double of 18 kills and 11 digs in a matchup against Elon and also totaled a team-high seven kills, in a matchup against the Flames.
The Lady Bison are currently 1-11 on the season and will participate in the Arundel Mills Terrapin Invitational on Friday in College Park, Md.
